Received your letter yesterday and was very glad to hear from you. Before I forget it do you happen to know a Tony Schrand ? He says he knows you quite well. He is in my troop and a swell fellow. I didn't even know he was from ft. Mitchell till the other day when I noticed a picture of a girl on his shelf that looked familiar. Let me know if you known him will you please! Don't forget!
Say! I'm still waiting for that picture you promised as I would really like to have one. Well Margie I hate to close so soon but we have to go out on the ranges and fire some weapons so I guess I'll stop for now but will try to write more later.
