Received your letter several weeks ago & am just getting around to answering. A fine thing huh? I've been kind of busy & what spare time I had was, of course, taken up by the sweetest girl in the world. Am enclosing a snap that I took a few weeks ago. You can't tell very much as its too small, should of been projected, The car of course is mine.
Just got back from Church a short while ago & then we had breakfast. It's a very beautiful Sunday morning for a change. Would be swell for a hike in the woods, or a nice ride or something.
Well here it is Monday noon. Yesterday I did just what I said in the previous paragraph. Guess maybe I shouldn't have though, as I got a banged up feeling out of the deal. Got clipped by a cab as we were going though town. Nothing serious though, thank God! I have more bad luck!
So you'd like to go for a motorcycle ride, huh? Well, someday I'll be down and take you out for one. It's very interesting & a lot of fun. Haven't been riding much lately as I've been too busy. When Spring comes that's when its really going to be enjoyable.

Yes, this gal of mine is in Service. Her name is "Tommie", she's a Sgt & her home is in California. She's Catholic, so we go to Church together always. She's very pretty, has a nice figure & a wonderful personality. She'd like very much to be your cousin, but I can't see it until after the war. And by that time a lot of things can change. I'm sure keeping my fingers crossed though. She's really wonderful.
But how about you folks up there. Hope everyone is well & working, but not too hard. You're still working over in "linky" aren't you?
And how are you doing with all of your boy-friends? Still beating them off with the old base-ball bat. More power to you!
Well, don't know of much else to write. Guess I'm about run down. Tell your folks I said "Hello" & be good. Stay sober - & write soon.
Your Cousin, Joe
